I am a senior in high school about a year older than you are. I understand that we all make mistakes and I like that you carried the baby to term and gave him a chance with another mother who really wanted a baby but couldn't have one. On the other hand, how could you be so irresponsible and dumb!! Number 1: you had unprotected sex. Number 2: you weren't even dating the boy. Number 3: you should've waited until you were ready because clearly, you weren't mature enough.
Then again, you did the right thing running out of the abortion clinic and give the baby to Vanessa. I wouldn't have judged you if you gotten an abortion at that early stage but I wouldn't like that decision as much. You were ready to exercise your right, thanks to Roe v. Wade, to have an abortion.
If I was in your situation I would do pretty much the exact thing you did. You had very supportive parents and a very supportive friend by your side. The planning for the adoption was almost great until that a-hole of a husband decided to divorce Vanessa. But in the end everything ended up alright.
